Will the Door Defender fall off if it is hit by another door?
The Door Defender is supported by extremely powerful magnets called 'Earth Magnets'. It will not fall off on impact
I am afraid that the Door Defender may scratch my paintwork?

My car already has protection strips built into the door. Why would I need a Door Defender?
Many vehicles have what's called a 'rubbing strip' which is normally found on the lower half of vehicle doors. They do offer some protection against damage but most car park damage occurs at the widest point of the door, often just below the door handles. The Door Defender can be positioned precisely where most damage is likely to occur.
Can the Door Defender be stolen?
This is probably the most asked question about the Door Defender so lets try and give you an open perspective. The Door Defender is equipped with a tether made from aircraft grade steel cable which has a 200kg b/s and prevents someone taking a liking to them and just walking away with them, providing of course the vehicle is locked. There have been over 8000 units sold so far and there have not been any reports of any Door Defenders being stolen to date. It is most people's fear that this product would be subject to being stolen and after investing nearly £80.00 per set, who can really blame them? The true fact is the Door Defender is at less risk of being stolen than a car stereo, windscreen wipers or secured decorative wheel caps. Some people have reported to us that they rarely use the tether to secure their Door Defenders and have never experienced any attempts from people trying to steal them. However we will not try to pretend that the Door Defender could never be stolen. We all know that if someone wants something badly enough to steal, they will find a way of getting it wether it be from your house, your place of work or your car. But think about it, you would have to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and be very unfortunate to have a thief pass your car and attempt to steal them. Most of the time you will be using your Door Defenders at say supermarkets, airports or pay and display car parks where most people using these facilities are going about their business. The risk of someone waiting to steal a set of Door Defenders is extremely small. No doubt there will be curiosity in peoples minds as they spot the Door Defenders and wonder what they are but with the security tether on display, this instantly puts doubt in people's minds as to what it is actually connected to!! In addition the Door Defender can now be equipped with personalised printing including vehicle registration matching. This reinforces the security of the Door Defender.
Does the Door Defender take long to fit?
The Door Defender can be applied and removed from a vehicle within seconds. The average person can remove a set of Door Defenders from a vehicle, store them in the boot and be ready to drive off in less than 30 seconds.
Why are some Door Defenders made with such bright colours?
The brightly coloured Door Defender can act as a visual, as well as a physical defense system. People will have a natural curiosity and will wonder what the Door Defender is, therefore are more likely to be careful around your vehicle
What if my vehicle has aluminium, fibreglass or carbon fibre doors?
There are a minority of vehicles where the doors are made from either of these materials.The Door Defender uses powerful magnets in order to stick to the door surface and therefore would not work on these vehicle doors. By simply placing a soft cloth over your vehicle doors and placing a magnet against the cloth, you will be able to tell in an instant whether your vehicle has ferrous metal doors - the magnet will stick. Please do not consider ordering the Door Defender if your vehicle doors are not made from ferrous metal. It will not work.
